Job Overview
We are urgently hiring for an Operations Manager to join our team. The Fashion Operations Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the fashion brand, ensuring seamless coordination between design, production, inventory, and sales teams. This role involves managing supply chains, optimizing workflow efficiency, ensuring quality control, and maintaining strong relationships with vendors and manufacturers.
Key Responsibilities
Production & Workflow Management
• Oversee daily operations of the atelier, from design sampling to client delivery.
• Create and maintain production calendars, ensuring design timelines and client orders are met.
• Supervise the patternmaking, cutting, and sewing teams to ensure accuracy and consistency.
• Implement efficient systems for fabric sourcing, stock control, and production scheduling.
• Manage the relationship with tailors, beaders, and other artisans to ensure consistent quality.
Quality & Process Control
• Establish and enforce quality control standards at each stage of garment production.
• Monitor fittings and ensure each piece meets brand design and finish standards.
• Track material usage, minimize wastage, and optimize cost efficiency.
People & Team Management
• Lead, train, and motivate production and admin teams within the atelier.
• Assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and foster collaboration between creative and technical teams.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and performance reviews for atelier staff.
Design & Product Development Support
• Collaborate with the Creative Director on collection development and capsule launches.
• Translate design sketches into actionable production plans with technical specs.
• Manage sample development, ensuring ready-to-wear and made-to-order collections meet launch deadlines.
Client & Order Management
• Oversee order processing, fittings, and final delivery coordination.
• Ensure accurate record-keeping of client measurements, orders, and communication.
• Support showroom operations and liaise with the sales/marketing team to align production with demand.
Administrative & Reporting
• Maintain an up-to-date database for fabrics, trims, and inventory.
• Prepare weekly production and performance reports for management review.
• Support cost analysis, pricing decisions, and budgeting.
Qualifications
• 3–5 years of experience in fashion production or operations management (preferably in a made-to-order or ready-to-wear brand).
• Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in garment construction, pattern drafting, and fashion production workflow.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, creative environment.
• Tech-savvy with basic knowledge of inventory or production management tools.
