Work Schedule: Hybrid (Work from the office twice weekly)

Salary: NGN150,000

Job Summary:

The Content and Social Media Specialist will create and manage engaging content that resonates with our audience. This role includes developing social media strategies and content that promote our selection of books and engage our community of readers.

Key Responsibilities:

● Create and curate content for social media platforms, highlighting new arrivals and special promotions.

● Write blog posts, newsletters, and other materials that engage and inform our audience about books and literary events.

● Develop a social media calendar to schedule posts and facilitate community interaction.

● Monitor and respond to comments and messages on social media platforms proactively.

● Analyze engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of content strategies and make data-driven adjustments.

● Collaborate with the team on marketing campaigns and promotional events, including author signings and book fairs.

● Stay up-to-date with current trends in the book industry and social media best practices.

Qualifications:

● Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.

● Minimum of 2 years of experience in social media management and content creation.

● Excellent writing and editing ski ls.

● Familiarity with social media analytics tools and content management systems.

● Creativity and a strong visual aesthetic.

● Passion for literature and a good understanding of book trends.
