Job Title: Accountant

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary Range: ₦300,000 per month

Job Summary:

We are looking for a competent and experienced Accountant to manage our financial records, ensure compliance with financial regulations, and provide accurate reporting and analysis to aid decision-making.

Job Responsibilities:

● Prepare and maintain financial reports, records, and general ledgers.

● Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual account reconciliations.

● Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other statutory payments.

● Monitor and analyze accounting data and produce financial statements.

● Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.

● Manage accounts payable and receivable.

● Liaise with auditors during audits and implement audit recommendations.

Job Requirements:

● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

● Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, ACCA) is a strong advantage.

● Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience.

● Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage).

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

● Excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
