Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Ikoyi, Lagos

Salary: NGN 350,000- 500,000 + attractive commission on subscriptions and partnerships.

Employment Type: Full-Time


Job Summary

We are hiring a Business Development Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. Your role involves researching potential clients, developing tailored logistics solutions, and negotiating contracts to expand our market presence. You will play a key role in strengthening relationships with businesses, vendors, and corporate clients to maximize profitability.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Growth & Client Acquisition

● Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our customer base.

● Develop and implement strategies to acquire high-value clients, including e-commerce businesses, retailers, and corporate organizations.

● Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential areas for business expansion.

● Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.

2. Partnerships & Strategic Alliances

● Identify top businesses for strategic partnerships to enhance our service offerings.

● Negotiate and close partnership deals to drive revenue and improve logistics efficiency.

● Develop customized logistics solutions for clients to meet their business needs.

● Represent us at industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to establish credibility and generate leads.

3. Sales & Revenue Growth

● Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets.

● Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to optimize lead generation and conversion.

● Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to adjust business strategies accordingly.

● Track and report key performance metrics to evaluate business development success.

4. Customer Relationship Management

● Maintain relationships with existing clients to drive customer retention and repeat business.

● Address client concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction with our services.

● Collaborate with internal teams to improve service offerings based on client feedback.

Qualifications & Skills:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or a related field.

● 3-5 years of experience in business development, sales, or strategic partnerships, preferably in logistics, e-commerce, or a related industry.

● Proven track record of securing and growing business accounts.

● Experience in negotiating contracts and managing partnerships.
