Job Summary:

We are hiring a Backend Store Keeper to manage stock handling and storage operations at our supermarket warehouse. This role is vital to ensuring the availability and proper management of products that go onto the shelves. The ideal candidate is organized, physically fit, and knowledgeable in inventory control.

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive and inspect all incoming stock deliveries
• Organize and label items in the store’s backend/warehouse area
• Maintain accurate inventory records and report stock levels regularly
• Ensure proper storage to avoid damage or loss of goods
• Coordinate with the procurement and sales floor teams for stock movement
• Monitor expiry dates and conduct routine stock checks
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the storage area

Job Requirements:

• Minimum of 1–2 years' experience as a storekeeper or in a similar role
• Basic knowledge of inventory management
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Ability to lift and move stock when necessary
• Minimum of SSCE; further education is a plus
• Familiarity with stock tracking tools or basic POS systems is an advantage
