Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Store Manager to oversee the operations of a busy supermarket in Ikeja. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in retail management, team leadership, inventory control, and customer satisfaction. This role requires a hands-on leader who can drive performance, boost sales, and ensure seamless daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all store operations, including sales, inventory, staffing, and customer service
- Monitor stock levels, ordering, and supplier coordination to ensure product availability
- Train, supervise, and evaluate store staff performance
- Develop and implement strategies to drive foot traffic and increase sales
- Prepare reports on store performance, sales trends, and budgeting
- Ensure the store complies with health, safety, and hygiene regulations
- Maintain accurate inventory records and manage shrinkage
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues effectively
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns and merchandising
Job Requirements:
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in retail or supermarket management
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Excellent understanding of inventory systems and retail operations
- Effective communication and team management abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or a related field is preferred
- Proficiency in POS systems, Microsoft Office, and reporting tools
